A place for testing your super powers and releasing adrenaline. In the superhero area there are no limits to the action. If you’re looking for exhilarating attractions, live shows and overwhelming excitement, steel yourself to travel 65 metres into the air with “Superman: Atracción de Acero”, or go even higher with the dizzying “La Venganza del Enigma”, which is 100 metres tall. But beware, because anything can happen when the evil Joker is loose in Gotham City, as you’ll see in the “Gotham City™ Stunt Show”, where you can watch Batman and his sidekick Robin fight the Joker’s wicked plans in the heart of Gotham City. And don’t forget to try the exciting inverted rollercoaster “Batman: Arkham Asylum”. You could also visit the Joker’s repair workshop and drive one of his bumper cars on “The Joker Coches de Choque”. Finally, you can go for a swing on Mr. Freeze’s frozen flying chairs, but take care! If you’re looking for something sweet, make sure you visit The Joker Candy Shop, with a wide range of sweets (gluten-free and suitable for celiacs), ice creams, gummies, candies and a variety of sweet treats and snacks to get your strength back.

Superheroes, beings from other planets, villains and enemies... This is DC Super Heroes World, one of the most exclusive areas at Parque Warner Madrid.

In just a couple of steps, over a few square metres, you can travel from Metropolis to Gotham City. Two cities, two heroes, with the same destiny: to fight evil. If you’re a fan of Superman™ and Batman™, you cannot miss this unique thematic area, the only one of its kind in Europe, where you can star alongside your favourite heroes.

The world’s most powerful superheroes need your help

Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No! It will be you, flying like the unbeatable Kal-El in Superman: Atracción de Acero, one of the most spectacular roller coasters in the park! This ride is only suitable for the bravest visitors, and will impress even those watching on the sidelines, as they listen to the screams of those riding in the floorless trains along a 2 minute route, in an adventure that is worthy of Superman™ himself!

From Metropolis to Gotham City, to help the Dark Knight in Batman: Arkham Asylum, a roller coaster for the most courageous of all. You will visit Arkham, an asylum and home to various infamous criminals, including the Joker, Penguin and Bane. This attraction provides a virtual reality experience thanks to the its VR Glasses, the only way to fully transport the user into this world, with an immersive superhero adventure full of action, and also featuring the Joker. The images from the VR Glasses are perfectly synchronised with the movements of the attraction, ensuring you are fully immersed in the virtual environment in an individual and natural way, so you can feel like the lead character of the story. This is Batman™: Arkham Asylum, a roller coaster without precedent. Your body will be completely flooded with adrenaline!

The other rides available in this area, which will delight DC Comics fans like you, include Mr.Freeze Fábrica de Hielo, The Joker Choques de Choque and La Venganza del Enigma, whose 115-metre free fall makes it the tallest ride of its kind in Europe.

All superheros make time to refuel. In our park, the Daily Planet is not only the home of the most famous newspaper in the world of comics. Here it is also one of the most American restaurants in Parque Warner. If you have similar tastes to Alfred, you’ll want to try Gotham City Grill, with its sinister style that will captivate you as soon as you walk through the door. You should also visit Metrópolis Boutique, Gotham City Gifts or The Joker Candy Shop for some park souvenirs that you can take home with you. This is DC Super Heroes World.

Spectacular attractions

Batman: Arkham Asylum a roller coaster for the most courageous of all. You’re suddenly plunged into darkness and find yourself in a dark passageway. You’re in Arkham, an asylum that is home to a number of infamous criminals, such as the Joker, Mr. Freeze and Bane. Get on the ride and experience an adventure with Batman™, who is forced to track down these villains after they escape from prison. This ride is half a kilometre long and will leave you breathless: five inversions, a 31-metre fall, and a speed of 83 km/h. A total adrenaline overload!

This attraction provides a virtual reality experience thanks to its Samsung Gear VR glasses, the only way to fully transport the user into this world, with an immersive superhero adventure full of action that features the Joker and sensations that go beyond the virtual. The images from the VR Glasses are perfectly synchronised with the movements of the attraction, ensuring you are fully immersed in the virtual environment in an individual and natural way, so you can feel like the lead character of the story.

When you enter this roller coaster you will have the option to wear the Samsung Gear VR glasses or not, if you’d prefer to enjoy the ride in a more traditional way. Whichever option you choose, traditional or immersive VR, the result will be the same: a flood of adrenaline. If you dare to put on the Samsung Gear VR glasses you will be transported directly to Arkham Asylum, the psychiatric hospital that houses all of Batman’s enemies. The Joker has just let loose Poison Ivy, Killer Croc and Mr Freeze to cause chaos so he can take over the city of Gotham. From here you will begin a frantic escape in first person through a city full of danger, immersed in visual and audio virtual reality that is also accompanied by a roller coaster that moves at a speed of 80 km/h along 780 metres of track, with 5 impressive inversions.

Two of the most infamous villains in the Dark Knight story provide the names for two of the other attractions that can also be found at DC Super Heroes World: the Sillas Voladoras de Mr. Freeze and Los Coches de Choque de El Joker. But of course we can’t forget La Venganza del Enigma, an incredible free-fall ride that is iconic for our park, with its own record: at 115 metres tall, it is the tallest attraction in the whole of Europe.

Or you could try Gotham City Grill, with its sinister style that will captivate you as soon as you walk through the door.
