Come and meet the most famous supervillains from Gotham City. The Clown Prince of Crime and his crazy companion have decided to take a break from causing havoc to come and meet their most ardent fans.
The origin stories behind The Joker are varied and numerous. He himself has told the story of how he came to be in several different ways, saying that sometimes he remembers it one way, and other times a different way, and that if he has to have a past, why not make it multiple choice. Batman: the Killing Joke contains the most consistent origin story, where the first time he met Batman was when he was acting under the identity of the "Red Hood", committing a robbery in or around the ACE Chemical lab with a gang of other thugs.
Harleen Quinzel was born in Brooklyn, New York. Ever since she was little she showed signs of higher than average intellectual and physical abilities, outperforming in every activity she tried. However, her family looked down on her and treated her as is she was stupid, pushing Harleen to focus on her university studies. From a young age she was very interested in understanding the criminal mind, which led to her completing her medical training with a master’s and a doctorate in criminal psychiatry, where she was at the top of all her classes. As soon as she had the opportunity, she abandoned her family to move to Gotham.
